Wichita-based Mediterranean chain Meddys plans to open its third Johnson County restaurant in mid-November at 115th Street and Nall Avenue in Overland Park.

The fast-casual restaurant will sit on the southwest corner of the intersection, near the Aspiria corporate campus, according to the Johnson County Post, which first reported the opening timeline. A January Johnson County Post report, citing a Colliers commercial real estate listing, identified the parcel.

Meddys founder Alex Harb said the brand has found strong support in the Kansas City market since arriving in Johnson County four years ago. He described the reception at the chain's first Prairie Village location as overwhelming.

"We want to open as many locations as we can possibly open in Kansas City, because it has embraced us," Harb told the Johnson County Post.

The 115th and Nall location joins a growing dining cluster around Aspiria. Block & Company, which manages the nearly 10-acre mixed-use site, has announced plans for a Yard House, a Capital Grille, and a 126-room AC Hotel by Marriott there, according to a Johnson County Post report in November 2025. The Andretti go-karting and gaming venue opened at the site in late 2025.

Meddys serves shawarma wraps, falafel wraps, hummus bowls, grilled citrus salmon plates, tabbouleh salad and baklava, among other dishes.

More growth ahead

Beyond the mid-November opening, Meddys is eyeing a second Overland Park site at the Bluhawk development off U.S. Highway 69 and 159th Street. No lease or opening date has been confirmed for that location. Bluhawk's Phase 2 is scheduled to open in spring 2027, according to Bluhawk's website, though Meddys is not among the tenants Bluhawk has announced.

The chain is also planning an Olathe restaurant at 17901 W. 119th St., targeting an early 2027 opening.

Meddys first entered Johnson County in 2022 at the Corinth Quarter shopping center in Prairie Village. A second location followed at Sonoma Plaza in Lenexa in the summer of 2024. The brand also operates in Kansas City, Missouri's Brookside neighborhood and in Liberty, Missouri.

No exact date has been set for the 115th and Nall opening beyond mid-November.
