Overland Park's annual Fall Festival returns to downtown Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26. More than 75 artisan vendors, food trucks and live music stages will fill the streets, and admission is free.
The festival runs 4–8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, according to the city's event listing. The city described the event as a free annual tradition held on the last weekend of September.
The Artisan Market anchors the weekend. More than 75 local and regional makers will sell artwork, jewelry, ceramics and specialty items across both days. The Overland Park Farmers Market will operate Saturday morning inside the festival footprint, with fresh produce, baked goods and other local goods.
Live entertainment will include regional bands and children's performers on stages throughout the weekend. The city said vendor lists and full performance schedules are posted at opkansas.gov/FallFestival.
Food trucks on-site will serve seasonal and savory options. Downtown Overland Park's independent shops, bookshops, art galleries and restaurants will also be open during the festival.
Visit Overland Park, the city's destination marketing organization, promoted the 2024 edition on X on Sept. 25, 2024, calling it two days of live music, a local vendor fair and seasonal treats worth canceling other plans for.
The Fall Festival is one of several September events on the city's calendar. Pumpkin Hollow at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead opens Tuesday, Sept. 22, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 18, according to the city's September event guide.
